Cours de Français

Throughout my travels, I have taught French and gained extensive experience with diverse audiences:

  • One year as a French teacher at Heilig-Geist-Gymnasium in Germany, teaching classes of various levels and preparing students for the DELF exam.

  • In Tahiti, at a French as a Foreign Language school, delivering FLE and FLS courses and supporting adults in professional reintegration.

  • At the University of Angers, guiding students in the writing of theses and research papers (bibliography software, introduction to scientific research in France).

  • In Germany, at the Institut Français and higher education institutions (VHS), teaching French courses at all levels of the CEFR.

Teaching Methodology

For me, learning French goes beyond providing theoretical tools; it is first and foremost a shared experience combining multiple aspects: learning through listening and active communication.

My teaching approach is scientific in nature: the teacher serves as a foundation and guide, while the student takes an active role in their own learning. To illustrate, the teacher provides the seed and the watering can — the knowledge and tools — but it is the student who cultivates and develops them. Without the seed, there is no knowledge; without care, there is no growth.

One of my main objectives is to help students discover their strengths and develop them. To achieve this, a variety of methods are used in class: speaking, writing, active participation, and research — all designed to integrate information and practice expressing it.

Before each lesson, we review your expectations and goals so that I can tailor every session to your needs and interests
